2022 SFI CONFERENCE AND BIG SPLASH

2022 SFI POLICY CONFERENCE – SELECTIVE FISHING: ACHIEVING A BALANCE

The SFI Annual Policy Conference, 2022 theme was Selective Fishing – Achieving a Balance, and the Big Splash Social and Fundraiser were held on November 18th at the Vancouver Convention Centre – West.  Both events were well attended and received.  We welcomed now former Premier Horgan back to our Conference after a previous attendance in 2015 and presented an Islander reel in acknowledgement and thanks for Mr. Horgan’s commitment to and support of BC salmon and fisheries during his time as Premier.

During the SFI Big Splash, we awarded Don McNeice the Bob Wright Legacy Award for his years of dedication to the recreational fishery and salmon enhancement efforts. Please see the BWLA Recipients page for a brief biography of Don and other BWLA recipients.
